It is your new mission to walk outside, look around and try to find something you think is designed in an ugly manner (a street light? an electrical cabinet?) and go back to the drawing board to redesign it to make it look beautiful. What would the same place look like in a perfectly aesthetic world? Would you add functionalities?

You could also flip the question. What if you went outside assuming the world is already beautiful. Could you snap a picture of it, go back home and now try to turn the scene into something you deem unappealing? Is the change of something minor into something ugly enough to change an aesthetically pleasing world into a non-beautiful one?
